RudnanskyRichard R. Rudnansky, is a principal with Meyers Nave with over 30 years of experience. He merged his successful litigation and municipal law practice with Meyers Nave in 2000 and continues to practice in those areas of the law as well as mediation.

He has received mediation training including courses from the Center for Mediation in Law and from the American Institute of Meditation. Mr. Rudnansky has been a Sonoma County Court Settlement Conference Panelist for almost 20 years and is a past president of the Redwood Empire Trial Lawyers Association.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sonoma County Bar Association, Section Representative for the Public Law Section of the Sonoma County Association, and a member of the State Bar of California. He has been named Northern California Super Lawyer by the San Francisco Magazine.

Mr. Rudnansky has experience in a wide range of cases in both state and federal court including but not limited to tort (e.g. motor vehicle, dangerous condition of public property), civil rights (e.g. due process and equal protection, police procedures and use of force), insurance law and coverage, inverse condemnation (e.g. landslides, floods, takings), environmental (e.g. California Environmental Quality Act), land use (e.g. land use entitlements, zoning, easement and boundary disputes, real estate), municipal and governmental disputes; mobile home park rent control, nuisance; and contract disputes.

In addition Mr. Rudnansky has advised a number of cities, redevelopment agencies, school districts, and special districts as city attorney, general counsel and special counsel in almost all aspects of Municipal Law including litigation. He is currently the City Attorney for the City of Cotati, the Town Attorney of Windsor and General Counsel for the Windsor Water District, Windsor Redevelopment Agency and In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority of Marin.

Mr. Rudnansky is a 1977 graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1971 and received a Masters Degree in 1973.
